烟台地处山东半岛东部，濒临黄海、渤海，与辽东半岛及日本、韩国、朝鲜隔海相望，总面积13864.5平方公里，位于北纬37°这个荟萃人类文明胜迹的神奇纬度线上。

烟台四季分明，风光旖旎，市内旅游景区众多，有国家5A级旅游景区3处、4A级19处、3A级50处，获“中国优秀旅游城市”称号，是享誉海内外的旅游休闲度假胜地。

Yantai is located in eastern Shandong Peninsula, lying along the Yellow and Bohai seas. Meanwhile, it faces Liaodong peninsula, Japan and South Korea across the sea. With a total area of 13,864.5 square kilometers, Yantai is situated at the 37th degree of Northern Latitude, a magical latitude line where the wonders of human civilization converge.

Yantai has four distinct seasons and beautiful sceneries. There are many tourist attractions in the city. It is one of Excellent Tourist Cities in China and a world-famous tourist resort.
