Zichuan: International Students Visit Hanqing National Porcelain

Recently, over 20 international students from countries such as Russia, Pakistan, and Tanzania visited the Hanqing National Porcelain Art Center. With their fingertips gliding over the smooth porcelain surfaces and their ears attuned to the legendary tales of the kiln fires, they engaged in a cross-cultural, in-depth dialogue with the elegant and profound aesthetics of the East.

In the center's treasure exhibition area, Ahmad, a Pakistani student, couldn't help but pause in awe when he saw the displayed "Silk Road Splendor" series of state banquet porcelain. In fluent Chinese, he remarked, "In my hometown, ceramics are often known for their vibrant colors, but the delicacy and elegance of Chinese ceramics have shown me a different kind of aesthetic power." The international students eagerly raised their phones to capture the exquisite entwined lotus patterns and gilded designs on the porcelain vases, frequently inquiring about the craftsmanship details from the guide.

This event, using ceramics as a medium, provided the international students with a platform to learn about the unique culture of Zichuan. It is hoped that through such exchanges, more foreign friends will experience the charm of traditional Chinese craftsmanship, becoming bridges for cultural dissemination.
