Zichuan: 50 International Shiitake Industry Professionals Attend Global Conference

On December 8, the "2025 International Shiitake Supply Chain Conference" grandly opened in Zichuan. Fifty shiitake industry elites from countries such as Japan, South Korea, and Singapore gathered alongside global industry experts and corporate representatives to deliberate on development strategies under the core theme of "Uniting Global Shiitake Industry Forces to Promote Resource Integration and Value Enhancement."

The conference was organized by the Edible Fungi and Products Branch of the China Food, Native Produce, and Animal Byproducts Import and Export Chamber of Commerce and Shandong QIHE Biological Technology Co., Ltd. It aimed to explore high-quality development pathways for the global shiitake industry across multiple dimensions, including collaborative innovation among industry, academia, and research, full-chain integration of the supply system, and dual-track expansion of domestic and international markets. Open to the global community, the conference adopted pragmatic measures to establish a high-level, international exchange platform, injecting robust momentum into the co-construction and prosperity of the global shiitake industry ecosystem.

During the keynote discussion sessions, representatives from various countries engaged in in-depth exchanges on topics such as "New Pathways for Shiitake Export" and "AI Technology Empowering Industry Upgrades." Representatives from Singaporean agricultural technology enterprises showed particular interest in the automated production lines of QIHE Biological's smart factory, leading to three on-site agreements for collaboration on mushroom cultivation technology. The South Korean delegation focused on optimizing cross-border logistics and reached preliminary consensus with QIHE Biological's overseas business department on the "Standardization of Fresh Shiitake Cold Chain." Additionally, the "2025 Shiitake Prepared Dishes Popularity Ranking," released concurrently with the conference, provided valuable insights for countries seeking to expand their consumer markets.
