Recently, a unique traditional culture experience event kicked off warmly in Yanzhou District. Twelve international students from Tajikistan gathered here to deeply embrace the distinctive charm of traditional Chinese opera, and felt the profound and extensive nature of fine traditional Chinese culture during a 120-minute immersive interaction.

At the start of the event, teachers from the Shandong Bangzi Opera Troupe of Yanzhou District, dressed in exquisite opera costumes and wearing delicate makeup, presented wonderful excerpts from traditional operas such asThe Seventh-Rank Sesame Official,Taking CommandandPleading in Court. The fluttering water sleeves exuded classical elegance, and the melodious singing was full of cultural connotations. The classic plot excerpts and exquisite performing skills allowed the international students to directly experience the artistic charm of traditional opera, and rounds of applause and admiration echoed at the scene from time to time.

After the performance, the interactive experience session began. The teachers of the opera troupe acted as "cultural guides", patiently and meticulously building a bridge for the international students to approach opera culture. The international students were full of enthusiasm and took part in the in-depth experience one after another. In the opera costume experience area, everyone put on colorful and exquisitely patterned traditional opera costumes, instantly "transforming" into opera characters and feeling the cultural connotations behind the costumes. Curious international students also gathered around opera props such as round fans, horsewhips and flower spears, trying basic movements under the guidance of teachers and experiencing the boldness and unrestrainedness of opera martial arts. In addition, the opera musical instrument experience session was also very popular. The international friends touched instruments like drums, clappers and large gongs with their own hands, listened to their unique timbres, and felt the distinctive charm of opera accompaniment.

With traditional opera as the link, this event adopted a "appreciation + experience" mode, enabling international students to closely feel the vivid pulse of Yanzhou's traditional culture.
