According to the Book of Songs, we should regard sage Confucius as a mountain peak, and we should aspire for the peak even if we may not reach it in the end. While reading the related works on Confucius, I could not stop yearning for meeting him in person. When we talk about the Six Arts, people across the China,including emperors in different dynasties, all look up to Confucius as the highest standards. So it is fair to say that Confucius is truly a supreme sage.
