Sports Build Bridges, Youth Forge Bonds

The national pilot project of promoting communication, exchange, and integration among young people of all ethnic groups through sports, as well as the East West Youth Judo and Wrestling Exchange Activity, was held in Lingang District.

More than 120 young athletes, coaches, sports associations, and club leaders from Jilin, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Shandong and other regions participated in the event.

Since its implementation in June, the project has held a total of 5 sports events and activities, including the China Judo Wrestling Elite Competition for Middle School Students. It has attracted more than 2100 young people from 12 provinces across the country to gather in Weihai Lingang, where they can exchange and learn from each other, and grow together through shared events.
