Study in Shandong：Foreign friends walk into Suoyifan Village

On March 3, foreign teachers including Atem Belham from Cameroon and NELBIE and EMIE from the Philippines, all from Zibo High-tech Zone Foreign Language School, visited Suoyifan Village in Gaoqing County for an immersive experience of rural life along the Yellow River. Strolling through stone-paved lanes, they enjoyed the pastoral scenery surrounded by wetlands, savored local farmhouse dishes, and listened to villagers’ stories about the village’s development along the river. Exploring the village on foot and tasting its local flavors, they deeply experienced the tranquility and vitality of Shandong’s countryside in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. The teachers agreed it was an unforgettable cultural journey and expressed eagerness to return with family and friends to relish the simple, beautiful pace of rural life.
