Zichuan：Russian Friend Visits Pu Songling Memorial Hall in Zichuan

On March 1, Russian visitor Daria toured the Pu Songling Memorial Hall in Zichuan, Zibo, to experience the charm of classical Chinese literature and Liaozhai culture up close.

Guided by a docent, Daria visited exhibition areas including Pu Songling's former residence, exhibits on his life, and a hall displaying editions of his works. She gained insights into Pu Songling's life experiences, literary achievements, and the creative background and enduring influence of Liaozhai Zhiyi. Daria paused to admire precious artifacts such as original manuscripts, ancient editions of books, paintings, and calligraphy. She expressed admiration for the fantastical and vivid stories, delicate humanistic sentiments, and superb literary craftsmanship found in Pu Songling's works.

During the visit, Daria frequently asked questions and engaged in discussions, immersing herself in the cultural heritage of a traditional Chinese literati's residence and experiencing the unique charm of fine traditional Chinese culture. The visit not only enhanced the international friend's understanding of Zibo's regional culture but also contributed to bringing Liaozhai culture to the global stage and promoting cultural exchange and mutual learning between China and other countries.
