Deepening Belt and Road Cooperation, Writing a New Chapter of Shared Development —— Agricultural Delegation from Kyrgyzstan Visits Sishui for Economic and Trade Exchange

On March 16, a delegation from the Kyrgyzstan Agricultural Holding Company visited Sishui County for economic and trade inspections and the signing of cooperation agreements. The visit aimed to deepen agricultural cooperation between China and Kyrgyzstan under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative, promote targeted industrial collaboration, and draw a new blueprint for mutual benefit and win-win outcomes.

At the signing ceremony, Wang Deding, Chairman of Hongrun Foods, stated that the company has always prioritized quality, and it is precisely because of its excellent product quality that it has earned high recognition from its Kyrgyzstani partners. "The signing of this agreement to purchase 5,000 tons of chicken breast annually is a strong affirmation of 'Made in Sishui.' We will strictly control product quality, provide safe and high-quality agricultural products to Kyrgyzstani consumers, and take this opportunity to promote more Sishui specialty agricultural products to the international market."

In a warm atmosphere, Abdiev Roman, Director of the Project Management Department of the Kyrgyzstan Agricultural Holding Company, and Wang Deding jointly signed the cooperation agreement. It is reported that the contract value exceeds 60 million yuan. Sharapov Zheleesovich, Deputy Head of the Veterinary Service, Livestock, and Feed Department of the Kyrgyzstan Ministry of Agriculture, spoke highly of the cooperation prospects: "Kyrgyzstan and China share a deep friendship, and agricultural cooperation is a key pillar of our bilateral economic and trade relations. We highly value the production capacity and product quality of Shandong enterprises and look forward to establishing a long-term and stable trade partnership through this signing to achieve mutual benefits and win-win outcomes."

During the event, the delegation conducted in-depth inspections of key enterprises such as the Sishui Sweet Potato Industrial Park, Yushi Food, and Ouli Machinery. The visit was accompanied by relevant officials from the County Commerce Bureau, who provided detailed introductions to industrial landscape, policy support, and development directions.

At the Sweet Potato Industrial Park, the delegation listened carefully to introductions about sweet potato cultivation, deep processing, and export. Impressed by the complete industrial chain and advanced processing technology, Director Roman expressed strong interest: "Sishui's sweet potato industrial chain is well-developed, and its technology is advanced, whichis highly alignedwith Kyrgyzstan's need to develop agricultural product processing. We are willing to explore the introduction of relevant technologies and equipment to enhance the added value of our agricultural products."

At Yushi Food, the company head introduced the production process of traditional snack foods and highlighted the vast potential of the Central Asian market. The company plans to gradually complete product adaptation and Halal certification preparations, aiming to achieve export breakthroughs in the near future. At Ouli Machinery, the delegation also gained insights into the manufacturing processes of related machinery and equipment, laying the foundation for future multi-field cooperation.

Discussing future cooperation, Bu Xinhua, County Party Committee Standing Committee Member and Deputy County Mayor of Sishui, stated that Sishui County would fully leverage its geographical advantages and industrial foundation, with Hongrun Foods as a flagship enterprise, to drive more local businesses to integrate into the Belt and Road Initiative and strive to build an agricultural product export base targeting Central Asia. The county government will continue to optimize the business environment, providing comprehensive service guarantees for cooperation between Chinese and foreign enterprises.

The visit of the Kyrgyzstan agricultural delegation and the series of achievements signify that economic and trade cooperation between Sishui County and Kyrgyzstan has entered a substantive new phase. Building on the foundation of solidified chicken trade, the two sides will further expand in-depth cooperation in diverse fields such as sweet potato products, snack foods, and mechanical equipment.
