Yutai County, Jining City: International Friends Admire Pear Blossoms, Adding Glamour to Rural Culture and Tourism

On March 28th, fourteen international students from six countries including Tanzania, Nigeria and Cameroon were invited to the Embankment Economic Forest Industrial Park in Guting Street, Yutai County, to immerse themselves in the splendid scenery of the Pear Blossom Festival. They helped boost the rural culture and tourism event from an international perspective.

"This is my first time attending the Pear Blossom Festival in Guting Street. There are not only wonderful cultural performances but also a wide variety of local snacks. This activity has let me experience a strong sense of Chinese charm and left me with very beautiful memories," said ABDULLAHI ZAINAB HARUNA, a student from Nigeria, happily.

As the snow-white pear blossoms bloomed in full splendor, the international students strolled through the sea of flowers, enjoying the spring scenery of the pear orchard, watching farming activities, and tasting local specialties. They experienced firsthand the vibrant vitality of the deep integration of rural revitalization and eco-cultural tourism in Yutai, adding a brilliant international touch to the event.

Afterwards, the research delegation visited Langde Livestock and Poultry Co., Ltd. to inspect the livestock and poultry breeding and automated production lines on site, gaining an in-depth understanding of the development model of local characteristic animal husbandry. At Jinfeng Food Co., Ltd., a partner institution, the team paid a return visit to the Shandong Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base and conducted research and exchanges on corporate technological innovation, product research and development, as well as industry-university-research cooperation.

This activity has built a new bridge for university-local cooperation and international exchanges, allowing international students to directly experience the achievements of modern agricultural development, and injecting new impetus into the quality upgrading of Yutai's characteristic industries.
