Featuring nine tassels at front and back, multicolored jade beads, and earplugs on both sides, it was the highest ceremonial attire for Ming princes to wear on grand state occasions. Dignified, restrained, and full of presence, it exudes majestic royal elegance at first sight.
The second treasure is thegem-inlaid gold belt ornament, which belonged to Zhu Tan, Prince of Lu. Shaped like a traditional ruyi cloud head and crafted from gold, it features a dazzling array of colors, highlighting the noble status of ancient aristocrats. Unearthed from the Tomb of Prince Huang of Lu, this gold belt ornament has a solid gold base inlaid with red, blue, and green gemstones.
