追风“老外”丨西班牙加那利群岛风筝迷：创作“龙头风筝”参赛，只因对中国龙情有独钟

4月17日，来自西班牙加那利群岛的韦尔纳·巴切正在滨海云门国际放飞场上放着自己设计制作的风筝。因为痴迷中国龙文化，他特地制作了“龙头”风筝参与潍坊风筝会。

On April the 17th, Werner Bache from the Canary Islands, Spain, was flying a kite designed and made by himself at the Binhai Yunmen International Kite Flying Field. Fascinated by Chinese dragon culture, he specially created a dragon-head kite to take part in the Weifang Kite Festival.

70岁的他今年第二次参加潍坊国际风筝会。当天的风力不太稳定，他不断调整着放飞的力道。“这只风筝叫‘龙头风筝’。”他告诉记者，“我希望这是一只中国龙头风筝。”

At the age of 70, he was taking part in the Weifang International Kite Festival for the second time this year. The wind was rather unstable that day, so he kept adjusting the strength he used to fly the kite. “This kite is called a dragon-head kite,” he told reporters. “I hope it is a Chinese dragon-head kite.”

虽然远在万里之外的加那利群岛，韦尔纳·巴切却对中国龙产生了浓厚兴趣。“中国龙不需要翅膀就能飞行，而欧洲的龙却需要翅膀。”他在记者面前比较起中国龙与欧洲龙如数家珍。“中国龙是祥瑞，而欧洲龙则没那么美好。我喜欢中国龙，它们寓意吉祥。”

Although he lives thousands of miles away in the Canary Islands, Werner Bache has developed a strong interest in Chinese dragons. "Chinese dragons can fly without wings, but European dragons need them," he told reporters, comparing Chinese and European dragons with great familiarity. "Chinese dragons are auspicious, while European dragons are not. I love Chinese dragons because they symbolize good luck."

他甚至现场给记者出起了考题。“你知道中国龙应该有多少根爪子吗？民间用四爪龙，皇家用五爪龙。”

He even gave the reporter a little quiz on the spot. “Do you know how many claws a Chinese dragon should have? Common people use four-clawed dragons, while the royal family uses five-clawed ones.”

正因为对中国龙情有独钟，他自己设计制作了参加风筝会的风筝。记者看到，这只风筝以中国龙头为主要图案，不过与中国传统的龙头蜈蚣风筝完全不同。“这是我用欧洲人的思维模式设计的。”

It is precisely because of his special fondness for Chinese dragons that he designed and made the kite for the festival himself. Reporters saw that the kite mainly featured a Chinese dragon head pattern, but it was completely different from traditional Chinese dragon-centipede kites. "I designed it from a European perspective," he said.

关于放风筝，他还总结出了自己的秘诀。“放风筝就像教育孩子一样，”你要保持适当的距离，并在正确的时间收线。如果时机不对，你就错了。你需要有耐心。”

He also summed up his own secret to kite flying. "Flying a kite is just like educating children. You have to keep a proper distance and reel in the line at the right time. If the timing is wrong, you will fail. You need to be patient."

当天下午，随着放飞场的风力逐渐增大，天空中已经飞满了来自不同国家的各式风筝。“这太震撼了！”他看着天空说道，“没风的时候，这里什么都没有。可是只要有一点风，天空就会布满风筝。一切都美极了！此时此刻，这里就像一个天堂！”

In the afternoon, as the wind at the flying field grew stronger, the sky was soon filled with various kites from different countries. “This is amazing!” he said, looking up at the sky. “When there is no wind, there is nothing here. But with just a little wind, the sky is full of kites. Everything is so beautiful! At this moment, this place is just like a paradise!”
