Lingnan University Hopes to Continue Deepening Cooperation with Various Sectors in Shandong

5月18日，2026港澳山东周启动，香港工程院院士、岭南大学校长秦泗钊在港澳代表人士座谈会上表示：岭大与山东的合作近年来构建起多领域、深层次的协同合作格局。2024年鲁港科技创新合作大会期间，岭大与日照市政府、山东高速集团签署战略合作框架协定。在教育与文化交流方面，岭大与山东大学已签署多项合作备忘录，在人才联合培养等方面开展务实合作。

On May 18th, the 2026 Hong Kong-Macao-Shandong Week was launched. Professor S. Joe Qin, President of Lingnan University and a Fellow of the Hong Kong Academy of Engineering, stated at the Symposium for Representatives from Hong Kong and Macao, in recent years, the cooperation between Lingnan University and Shandong has established a multi-faceted, deep-level collaborative framework. During the 2024 Shandong-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Conference, Lingnan University signed strategic cooperation framework agreements with the Rizhao Municipal People's Government and Shandong Hi-Speed Group. In the field of education and cultural exchange, Lingnan University and Shandong University have signed multiple memoranda of understanding and have carried out practical cooperation in areas such as joint talent cultivation.

山东工业基础扎实、应用场景广阔，香港则在人工智能与大数据领域蓄势待发。两地强强联合，可以在工业人工智能与绿色低碳转型中实现互利共赢。面向“十五五”，岭大希望继续深化与山东各界的合作，为鲁港澳协作发展贡献力量。

Shandong has a solid industrial foundation and broad application scenarios, while Hong Kong is experiencing rapid growth in the fields of artificial intelligence and big data. By joining forces, the two sides can achieve mutual benefit and win-win outcomes in industrial artificial intelligence and green and low-carbon transformation. Looking ahead to the "15th Five-Year Plan" period, Lingnan University hopes to continue deepening cooperation with various sectors in Shandong and contribute to the coordinated development of Shandong, Hong Kong, and Macao.
