Southwestern Shandong kicks off annual wheat harvest

Shandong's wheat harvest has begun in the southwestern and southern parts of the province, where over 60 million mu (4 million hectares) of wheat are ripening from south to north. Farmers in Zaozhuang and Linyi have started the first cut of this year’s harvest. The region is now busy with the season's first cut.
