Travel Far, Treasure the Spirit of China 行万里路，知中国心

Recently, students from Class 4, Grade 4 of the Primary School Affiliated to Shandong Normal University shared their winter vacation experiences. They explored the world with footsteps and immersed themselves in traditional culture. As the Chinese saying goes, "Read ten thousand books and travel ten thousand li", they spent a fulfilling and rewarding holiday.

近日，山师附小2022级4班的同学们分享了他们寒假期间“行万里路”的所见所闻。学生们用脚步丈量世界，用心灵感悟传统，在“读万卷书”的同时“行万里路”，度过了一个充实而有意义的假期。

During the winter vacation, some students went abroad with their parents to explore the world. Others went to Yichang, Hubei Province and visited the famous Three Gorges Dam on the Yangtze River. Some students made a special trip to Fanggezhuang Village in Gaomi, Weifang and took part in the themed activity “Tracing the Footsteps of Heroes”. Rather than just sightseeing, students focused on practical action. They went into the community and became young volunteers. The Spring Festival was the highlight of the winter holiday. To welcome the Chinese New Year, the team organized a traditional Chinese culture activity to write and distribute paper Fu characters to citizens.

寒假里，有的学生跟随父母走出国门，去探索更广阔的天地。有学生来到湖北宜昌，登上举世闻名的长江三峡大坝。还有学生专程前往潍坊高密方戈庄村，开展了一次“寻访英雄足迹”的主题活动。小队并没有只停留在“游”上，更落实在“行”中。学生们走进社区，化身小小志愿者。春节是寒假的重头戏。为了迎接农历新年的到来，还有小队开展了“写福送福”传统文化体验活动。

From exotic landscapes to our beautiful motherland, and from heroic spirit to community warmth, the members of Class 4, Grade 4 not only broadened their horizons but also grew through practice.

从异国风光到祖国河山，从英雄气概到社区温情，这个寒假，四年级4班的学生们不仅开阔了眼界，更在行走与实践中收获了成长。
