On June 20, South Korean visitor Kim Seong-hwan visited the Pu Songling Memorial Hall in Zichuan for an immersive exploration of the hometown of the Liaozhai stories, experiencing the unique charm of Shandong's classical literature.

Accompanied by a young student guide, Kim Seong-hwan toured the Pu Songling former residence, the life exhibition hall, the ancient book collection room, and other exhibition areas. He gained a detailed understanding of Pu Songling's life and listened intently to the creative background and literary significance of Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio.
With deep cultural ties between China and Korea, Strange Tales from a Chinese Studio has long been circulated in South Korea. Kim Seong-hwan shared information about Korean translations and the folk dissemination of the work in his country, as well as his own reading insights and reflections. This visit served as a bridge for cultural exchange between China and South Korea, allowing the Korean guest to intimately experience the rich traditional cultural heritage of Zibo. It also helped further promote the spread of Liaozhai culture internationally, deepening people-to-people cultural connections and friendly exchanges between the two nations.
