"Among them, the dedicated module is responsible for accurately measuring the water flow rate, and it is equipped with a high-precision water level sensor to simultaneously collect water level data. After the entire equipment is assembled in the workshop, it is uniformly sent to the professional calibration platform for real-scene simulation calibration. The actual measurement accuracy of the equipment at the factory can be stably controlled within 2%." Li Dong, the manager of the Water Resources Department of Lichuang Technology Co., Ltd., said.

Rooted in the frontline of hydrological monitoring in the Yellow River Basin, merely basic water level and flow rate measurements are far from meeting the demands of complex situations. In response to the characteristics of the Yellow River, such as high sediment content, sediment accumulation, and chaotic water flow patterns, the enterprise independently developed a full-section scanning flow measurement station. This equipment innovatively draws on the principle of medical CT layer scanning, establishing a "air - water - riverbed" three-dimensional detection matrix, accurately analyzing the distribution of sediment accumulation in the river channel and various irregular water flow patterns. From the technical perspective, it has overcome the industry challenge of precise flow measurement in complex water areas.
