Nine foreign guests from countries along the "Belt and Road" Initiative visited and inspected the vegetables in Mingli.

近日，来自巴勒斯坦、南非、埃及、埃塞俄比亚、安提瓜和巴布达、冈比亚、肯尼亚、特立尼达和多巴哥、东帝汶九个“一带一路”沿线国家的外宾代表团一行，到济南市莱芜区明利蔬菜特色种植专业合作社参观考察。活动中，明利蔬菜合作社党支部书记、理事长陈明新围绕果蔬种植、精深加工、产后保鲜减损、机械化生产等内容，向外宾细致介绍合作社产业发展模式、先进设备应用与核心技术优势，双方围绕农机实操应用、果蔬产销对接、跨境农产品合作等内容深入洽谈交流，合作社成熟的产业配套与先进种植技术优势获得外宾一致认可，多国代表初步达成后续经贸、技术合作意向。

“实地参观让我们近距离见识了现代化蔬菜种植与产后保鲜技术水平，拓宽了本国农产品提质增效思路，希望依托‘一带一路’平台深化技术互通与产业合作。”来自埃及国家研究中心的副教授穆罕默德·马哈茂德·赛夫·哈桑说道。

Recently, a delegation of foreign guests from nine countries along the "Belt and Road" Initiative - Palestine, South Africa, Egypt, Ethiopia, Antigua and Barbuda, Gambia, Kenya, Trinidad and Tobago, and Timor-Leste - visited the Mingli Specialized Vegetable Cultivation Professional Cooperative in Laiwu District, Jinan City. During the visit, Chen Mingxin, the secretary and director of the Party branch of Mingli Vegetable Cooperative, elaborated on the cooperative's development model in terms of fruit and vegetable cultivation, advanced processing, post-harvest preservation and loss reduction, and mechanized production. He presented the cooperative's advanced equipment application and core technical advantages to the foreign guests. The two sides conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on topics such as the practical application of agricultural machinery, the connection between fruit and vegetable production and sales, and cross-border agricultural product cooperation. The cooperative's mature industrial support and advanced planting technology were unanimously recognized by the foreign guests, and representatives from multiple countries initially reached intentions for subsequent economic and technical cooperation.

"The on-site visit enabled us to have a close-up look at the modern vegetable cultivation and post-harvest preservation technologies. It broadened our thinking on improving the quality and efficiency of domestic agricultural products. We hope to deepen technical exchanges and industrial cooperation by leveraging the 'Belt and Road' platform." said Professor Mohamed Mahmoud Saeed Hassan from the Egyptian National Research Center.
