The Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of TCM Hosts Sino-Australia Academic Forum on TCM

On August 23, 2026, the Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, together with the Federation of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Societies of Australia (FCMA), co-hosted the "Sino-Australia Academic Forum on Five-Tone Aromatherapy and TCM Daoyin." TCM experts and scholars from China and Australia gathered virtually to engage in comprehensive and in-depth academic discussions and exchanges on theoretical innovation, clinical practice, and promotion and application of characteristic TCM therapies.

The conference was presided over by Liu Chijing, Secretary-General of FCMA, with speakers joining from the United States, Shanghai, China, Beijing, Chinaand other regions. The Second Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of TCMsimultaneously established an offline sub-venue. Four speakers attended the event in person and delivered special lectures: Han Xingjun, Member of the CPC Party Committee and Vice President of the hospital; Professor Zhou Xia; Associate Professor Liu Zhimei, Deputy Director of the Graduate School of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine; and Yan Shiqing, Guest Professor of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Director of Shanghai Chuancheng Daoyin Medical Research Institute.

The successful hosting of this exchange conference has built a high-quality platform for academic exchange, technology sharing, and mutual appreciation of achievements between China and Australia in the field of TCM, fully demonstrating the unique academic value and international influence of original TCM techniques.
