International Expansion of China’s Fine-Brush Peony Painting Industry

Recently, the Supervisory Board of the Vietnam-Shandong Enterprises Federation, led a delegation on a field visit to Juye County, Shandong Province. The delegation conducted an on-site investigation into the current state of the local calligraphy and painting industry, its industrial layout, and its potential for international cooperation, aiming to further deepen the two-way cultural and economic exchanges between China and Vietnam and support Juye's distinctive Gongbi Peony Painting industry in expanding its global presence.

At the Juye County Fine-Brushwork Peony Painting Research Institute, the delegation gained a detailed understanding of the development history, artistic characteristics, inheritance system, talent cultivation model, and industrial achievements of fine-brushwork peony painting industry; they also observed the artists' on-site creative processes up close, experiencing firsthand the profound cultural heritage and robust growth momentum of Juye's calligraphy and painting industry.

At the Juye County Museum, the delegation conducted a systematic tour of its diverse collection of cultural artifacts and featured exhibitions, comprehensively and from multiple perspectives exploring Juye's regional historical trajectory, its rich folk cultural heritage, and the remarkable achievements in its cultural development. This experience allowed the delegation to gain a profound appreciation of the area's deep-rooted historical and cultural legacy, further strengthening their understanding and recognition of the foundation underlying distinctive industrial development.
