Mateo, who is from France, recently visited his wife’s hometown of Gaoqing County for a family trip, making a special stop at a local orchard to enjoy the experience of farm picking amid the lush green countryside. In the orchard, peach trees were full of leaves and heavy with ripe fruit, while the air was filled with a refreshing fruity aroma. Mateo picked fruit together with his family, walking through the trees and taking time to inspect each one. He listened carefully as his family shared picking tips, then gently plucked the ripe fruit. Holding the fresh, appealing produce in his hands, his face broke into a bright smile. During an interview, Mateo could hardly contain his excitement: “This is my first time experiencing farm picking in Gaoqing, and it feels absolutely wonderful! The orchard is beautiful, and the fruit is fresh and delicious. Picking with my family was full of joy, and it gave me a deeper feeling for the pastoral life here and the warmth of being together with loved ones. The countryside in Gaoqing is truly beautiful.
