Confucius Cultural Festival, Nishan Forum open in Qufu

From civilization scenes carved in Han Dynasty (206 BC–AD 220) stone reliefs, to the ritual order reflected in the Yachou Yue, and the shared standards embodied by an ancient bronze weight — three artifacts from Shandong spark a conversation about civilization, order and justice.

Across the centuries, the ideas they carry still speak to the world today: civilizations grow through exchange, order takes shape through shared norms, and justice begins with standards we can all agree on.

Today, the 2026 China International Confucius Cultural Festival and the 2026 Nishan Forum on World Civilizations open in Qufu, Shandong province.

At Nishan, the dialogue across civilizations continues.
