群贤至鲁丨德国专家：视山东为第二故乡，力荐其为欧洲“人才优选地”

5月13日，第四届山东人才创新发展大会暨第十四届“海洽会”在济南举办。海内外精英集聚齐鲁，共话人才发展与创新合作。

德国专家维尔纳·诺教授作为长期与山东科研机构合作的学者，在大会期间分享了他的感受，称山东早已成为他的第二故乡，他对山东的科研环境、政务效率和人文氛围也给予了高度评价。

维尔纳·诺教授表示，山东是一片底蕴深厚的沃土，这里的人们专业务实、深耕治学，全力支持国际同行开展科研合作。最让他印象深刻的是中国及山东高效的政务服务与运行效率：“从为外籍专家提供长期签证支持，让我每年可以便捷多次来访，再到顶尖的科研硬件设施，都位居世界一流水平。”

除了硬件设施，更打动他的是山东人民。他说，双方结下了深厚情谊、缔结了长久友谊，建立起稳固持久的科研合作关系。

维尔纳·诺教授明确表示，会向欧洲各国大力推介山东，将其推荐为海外人才发展的优选地。他指出，山东拥有密集的高校资源和浓厚的学术交流氛围，是驱动国际科研合作的理想之地。

The 4th Shandong Talents Innovation and Development Fair and the 14th China Shandong Domestic and Overseas High-End Talents Exchange and Projects Negotiation Fair was held in Jinan on May 13. Elites from home and abroad gathered in Shandong to discuss talent development and innovation-driven cooperation.

Professor Werner Nau, a scholar with long-term research cooperation with Shandong's scientific research institutions, shared his insights during the conference, noting that Shandong has become his second home. He spoke highly of Shandong's research environment, administrative efficiency and humanistic atmosphere.

"Shandong Province has a rich history in the area of education and academics. It has a very high density of universities, for example, in Jinan, but also in Qingdao. So you have really a very rich exchange, intensive exchange with scientists, which is very important to drive research collaborations," Professor Werner Nau remarked.

He stated that Shandong is a remarkable province where people are very professional, deeply engaged and strongly supportive of engaging international colleagues in their research. "What has impressed me the most is the efficiency with which China is operating. Shandong Province is operating, making everything very efficient, starting with the support of long-term visas for experts, making it very easy for me to visit many times during the year. Also, the research facilities are really one of the best in the world."

"Besides the excellent facilities and the excellent infrastructure, (what China also has) is the people, of course, with whom we can build very strong relationships and very long-lasting friendships and very reliable long-term collaborations," he added.

Professor Werner Nau pledged to promote Shandong across European countries. "I will be advertising, of course, Shandong Province as a top destination for foreign talents from different European countries."
