Yutai County, Jining City: The Rice Paddy Art in Yutai Enters the Best Viewing Period

Recently, the Rice Paddy Art in Wanglu Town, Yutai County, Jining City, has entered the best viewing period. A nearly 400-meter wooden boardwalk winds through the waves of rice. Standing on the observation tower, one can have a panoramic view of a magnificent earth-art painting themed "Embark on the 15th Five-Year Plan and Revitalize the New‑Look Countryside".

This year, the Rice Paddy Art features five carefully selected rice varieties with different colors. The traditional manual rice-transplanting technique has been used throughout the process. Through methods such as dividing the field into a nine-grid layout, marking coordinates, and using ropes to mark out the contours, the planting was completed in about 20 days. As the rice grows, the patterns gradually become clearer, and the viewing period will last until October.
