A total sci-fi spectacle!High-Speed Automated Parking Debuts in a Qingdao Tower

Inside the headquarters building of TGood Electric in Qingdao, a car slowly pulls into the building's express automated parking facility. After the driver parks the vehicle in a designated spot, a mobile pallet shifts left or right to align the car with the garage door. A movable rail then carries the vehicle onto a transfer shuttle, which moves within the garage to deliver the car to its parking slot.
"With a high-precision rail system combined with gear drive control technology, the singlevehicle parking time can be as short as 35 seconds - five times faster than conventional garages." said a project staff member.
This is the world's first automated parking project that integrates a high-speed stereo parking system with Vehicle to Grid (V2G) technology. It can store up to four times as many vehicles as a traditional garage of the same footprint, meeting parking demand with just one and a half floors of space. The design saved 50 million yuan in construction costs during the building's early stages.
The project also pioneers a bottomcharging system: an automated robotic arm precisely plugs the charger into the vehicle, enabling fully unattended recharging. By combining driverless parking with driverless charging, it delivers a truly "seamless charging" experience - a solution geared toward the future of autonomous driving.
