秋临南海鸟翩跹Autumn Brings Migratory Birds to Nanhai, Weihai

初秋时节，山东威海南海新区滨海湿地吸引大批候鸟陆续抵达，开启一年一度的迁徙停歇之旅。国家二级重点保护野生动物大杓鹬、白腰杓鹬、白琵鹭等珍稀鸟类相继集结于此，为这片海岸增添了灵动气息。

潮起潮落间，候鸟自在舒展身姿。有的低空盘旋，掠过波光粼粼的水面；有的缓步漫步，在泥滩上从容踱步；有的低头觅食，仔细搜寻潮间带里的饵料，勾勒出一幅人与自然和谐共生的湿地画卷。

候鸟如约而至，是生态向好最直观的信号。南海新区持续推进湿地保护与生态修复，不断改善滨海栖息地质量，稳定的生存环境让这里成为候鸟迁徙路上重要的“能量驿站”。这群远道而来的生灵，正是区域生态保护成效最生动的见证。

In early autumn, the coastal wetlands of Weihai Nanhai New Districtin Shandong Province welcome flocks of migratory birds arriving for their annual stopover during migration. National Class II protected wild animals, including the Far Eastern Curlew, Eurasian Curlew and Eurasian Spoonbill, have gathered here, bringing vitality to this coastline.

As tides rise and fall, migratory birds move freely across the wetland. Some skim low over shimmering water; others stroll leisurely on mudflats; many dip their heads to forage, searching for food in the intertidal zone. Together they paint a vivid picture of harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.

The annual return of migratory birds is an intuitive sign of improving ecological conditions. Weihai Nanhai New District has continuously pressed ahead with wetland conservation and ecological restoration, improving the quality of coastal habitats. The stable living environment has made this site a vital “energy stop”along the migratory route. These travellers from afar serve as the most vivid testament to the region’s ecological protection achievements.
