Early autumn in Weihai, where mountains meet the sea, breathes with the faint fragrance of ripening fruit, and green-skin figs weigh heavy upon every branch. As a National Geographical Indication product, it carries both the gifts of a land cradled by peaks and tides, and the wisdom of generations who have tended the soil.

Harvest holds within it the city's cultural warmth. The word "fruit" ("果") conceals the Chinese people's ingenuity for observing nature and chronicling daily life;the word "city" ("城") embodies a character of harmony between mountain and sea, and of embrace that lets all things thrive together—turning the fruits of distant lands into a harvest scenery uniquely Weihai's own.
