On September 23rd, the ninth Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival arrived as scheduled. This year's Harvest Festival, themed "Harvest Opens a New Chapter, Practical Work Promotes Revitalization", pays tribute to every effort and celebrates every harvest.

In Dongying, where the Yellow River empties into the sea, the harvest has taken on a concrete appearance. Bunches of winter dates have weighed down the branches. The winter dates here are large and round, with thin skin and crisp flesh, tender and juicy, and their average sugar content is five to six percentage points higher than that of ordinary dates. A bite into them brings a crisp and sweet taste. The Yellow River Estuary hairy crabs also usher in their most plump season. Thanks to the saline-alkaline water environment where the river meets the sea, the hairy crabs here are on the market 15 to 20 days earlier than those from the south. With green backs, white bellies, golden claws, and yellow hair, and a cover full of cream, they are the unique harvest flavor of the Yellow River Estuary.
