温故知新 | Foreign Media Influencers Experience Traditional Archery at Luyuan Village

From September 19 to 20, the cultural experience event "2026 Revisiting and Renewing: Jining Journey — Sacred Nishan Invites You to Share" made its way to Luyuan Village.A number of foreign media influencers personally tried their hand at the traditional Chinese art of archery, sensing the charm of the ancient "Six Arts" amid drawing bows and nocking arrows, and appreciating the distinctive appeal of Confucian culture through the balance of movement and focused stillness.

Archery is a time-honored traditional craft in China and one of the "Six Arts" advocated by Confucian culture. It calls not only for strength but, even more so, for steadiness and composure of mind.

Foreign influencer Kapustina Elizaveta tried archery for the first time. Among the many cultural experiences on offer, this ancient "Six Arts" discipline left the deepest impression on her.

Speaking of the experience, she could barely contain her delight: "I'm very happy. I think I found my favorite one, because I think it is the most difficult for me, and it is the one activity that I've never tried before. So I really enjoy my time here."

As she drew the bow, nocked arrows and focused her aim time and again, Kapustina Elizaveta threw herself fully into the activity, experiencing firsthand the focus and patience that traditional archery demands. Though she was still a little unsteady on her first attempts, she thoroughly enjoyed herself and declared that she had found the cultural experience she loved most on this trip.
