Zhangdian:Drunk in Glimmering Splendor

During the National Day holiday, Zibo Lantern Show at Qicheng launched the night tour event “Intangible Heritage Lights · Grand Festival for Twin Celebrations”. Centered on Zibo Lantern, a national-level intangible cultural heritage, the event integrates Qi Culture, live outdoor performances and light-and-shadow technology to present an immersive nighttime cultural and tourism feast.

It features a diverse garden fair experience: Grand Qi Elegance, an aquatic light show, recreates the ancient charm of the Qi State. Intangible heritage iron flower shows and water jet stunts are staged in turn. Three grand Chinese-style parades featuring lanterns, floats and flower boats take the spotlight, with live NPC interactions on site. Six interactive activities including Jixia riddles and tumbler performer experiences cater to families and young visitors.

As a key part of Zhangdian District’s event series “Revitalized Scenes · Trendy Fun in Zhangdian”, this activity fosters integration between traditional lantern craftsmanship and modern light art. It enriches nighttime cultural and tourism offerings in Zhangdian, revitalizes intangible cultural heritage, builds a renowned night tourism brand, and boosts the in-depth integrated development of culture, tourism and business.
