As the school bell rings, students pour out of classrooms, running and jumping. Athletic energy fills every corner of the campus. The Zhangdian District Bureau of Education and Sports revitalizes marginal spaces such as corridors and courtyards to build mini campus sports areas. It ensures students enjoy two hours of comprehensive physical activities each day, turning fragmented break time into workout sessions.

Small spaces support great health. Sports not only build physical fitness and improve eyesight but also act as a “regulator” for academic stress. While running and playing, students learn teamwork, make friends and relieve emotions. Anchored in the principle of “Health First”, Zhangdian integrates physical education with mental health. This livelihood initiative has been brought to life on campus, turning every inch of school grounds into a joyful stage where teenagers strengthen their bodies, nourish their minds and grow toward the sunshine.
